God

We believe the One living God, who is Spirit and manifests in three persons: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, is eternal, omnipotent, omniscient and full of goodness and mercy.

Saviour Jesus Christ

We believe the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, His sinless life, His message, His miracles. His atoning death on the cross, His burial, His resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His continuing intercession for us (Romans 8:34; 1 John 2:1; Hebrews 7:25. We believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming again Matthew 28:6; 1 Corinthians 15:4; Matthew 24:36–44; Zechariah 14:4; Revelation 19:11-16; John 14:3; Titus 2:13; Malachi 4:1–2.

The Holy Bible

We believe that the Bible is the revelation of God to man, inspired and Holy Spirit breathed written word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21; Psalm 119:89-96; Psalm 119:11; Psalm 138:2; John 1:1; Hebrews 4:12).

Blood of Jesus

We believe that only the Blood of Jesus is able to redeem man from sin, cleanse his conscience from guilt and make him perfect before God (Hebrews 9:22-28; Revelation 12:11; Exodus 12:13; Romans 5:9; Ephesians 2:13; Colossians 1:20; Revelation 13:8; Hebrews 12:24; Romans 3:25; Ephesians 1:7).

Holy Spirit Baptism

We believe that one should receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit to be empowered to lead a victorious life in Christ. We also believe that various gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit are available to a believer for the building up of the body of Christ (Act. 1:8).

New Creation

2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new“.

This is a well-known passage in Paul’s letters to Corinth. It describes how the gospel is to be conveyed, and discusses the moral contours of the new creation.

The new creation includes:

  • A newborn soul
  • New purposes, feelings, desires, and understandings
  • A new kind of love toward family and friends
  • A new compassion for enemies
  • A new love for all mankind

The old nature includes:

  • Natural pride
  • Love of sin
  • Reliance on works
  • Former opinions, habits, and passions

Kingdom Of God

We believe that one should repent of his sins and accept Jesus Christ as his personal saviour and be born again by the Word of God and the Holy Spirit to enter the kingdom of God.

Water Baptism

We believe that after believing in the son of God, one should take immersion baptism in the water, in the name of Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit on his way to the consummation of his personal salvation.

The Lord’s Supper

We believe that the Lord Jesus instituted the Lord’s supper in remembrance of him and to proclaim His death and we should eat the bread and drink the cup until he comes.

The Church

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, called separated and prepared as his Bride and every born again believer should enjoy the fellowship of other believers in a local Church. Ephesians 2:19 “Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.”

The church is not a building, but a body of believers with a specific nature and purpose. These biblical roles or ministries of the church are foundational to it. What are these roles? They are many, but key to any church are foundations in worship, edification and evangelism. 1 Timothy 3:15 “So that if I am delayed, you will know how people must conduct themselves in the household of God. This is the church of the living God, which is the pillar and foundation of the truth.

The Second Coming Of Jesus

We believe that Jesus Christ will come again for the second time in the mid-sky and the prepared Church will be caught up in the clouds to meet the lord in the air.

Here are some Bible verses that mention the Second Coming of Jesus Christ:

  • Zechariah 14:4: The Second Coming will take place on the Mount of Olives
  • Matthew 24:30: The Second Coming will be visible in the sky, with Jesus coming on clouds of glory
  • Titus 2:13: The Second Coming will be a “glorious appearing”
  • Revelation 19:11-16: Describes the Second Coming in detail, including a white horse rider with a name that only he knows
  • 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17: Describes the Second Coming as the Lord descending from heaven with a cry of command, and the dead rising first
  • 1 John 2:28; 3:2; 1 Timothy 6:14; 1 Peter 5:4: Jesus will “appear”
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:2-4: Jesus will come “like a thief in the night”
  • 1 Corinthians 15:51, 52: When Jesus returns, believers will be “changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye”
  • Mark 13:33: “Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come”
  • Luke 11:2: “Your kingdom come”
  • James 5:7: “Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord”
  • John 14:3: “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also”

Our Statement Of Faith

This is the statement of the Bible doctrine as believed and taught by us.

This statement of faith has its source in the Bible and is in total agreement with the principles of the doctrines of Christ. We believe that the Bible contains the inspired and infallible Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1: 20-21).

We believe that there is only one God eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 4:5-6, Gen. 1:26, Matthew 3:16-17).

We believe in the deity of Christ. (John 1: 1-4; John 10:30; Hebrews 1:1-5).
a. He was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:30-35)
b. He was conceived of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 1:30-35)
c. He died (John 19:30-35)
d. He rose again from the dead bodily (John 20:25-29, Luke 24:36-40)
e. He ascended into heaven bodily (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Matthew 29-30)
f. He is enthrone at the right hand of the Father (Romans 8:34-37 “Jesus Christ is seated at the right hand of God and intercedes for us.)”

We believe in the rapture of the church and the Second coming of Christ.
(1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Matthew 29-30)

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ (Acts 3:19, Luke 24:47; Ephesians 1:7).

We believe regeneration by the power of the Holy Spirit through the Word of God is essential for personal salvation (Titus 2:5, John 3:3-5, Ephesians 5:25-27).

We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides divine healing for the body, salvation for the soul of everyone that believes. (1 Peter 2: 24; Acts 3: 16, Acts 9: 32 -35).

We believe that when an individual receives the Holy Spirit, he receives divine enablement for service and witness. (Acts 1: 8; 2:4; 3:1 -26; 4:5 – 12).

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15: 16; 1 Corinthians 6:11).

We believe in the final resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the former to eternal life and the latter to eternal judgment. (Revelations 20: 11 -15; 1 Corinthians 15: 12 – 23)
